For some families, basic necessities like soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, or even a comfortable place to sleep are not always guaranteed. These needs can create stress and instability, which often follow students into the classroom, impacting their ability to focus, learn, and feel secure.\r\n\r\nYour donation has helped remove some of those barriers. Hygiene items such as body wash, lotion and deodorant allow students to come to school feeling clean, confident, and ready to learn. It may seem small, but something as simple as having access to these items can greatly improve a child's self-esteem and social interactions. Students no longer have to worry about being teased or feeling embarrassed, and instead, they can focus on being present and engaged in their education.\r\n\r\nThe household cleaning supplies have also made a meaningful impact on our families. By supporting a cleaner and healthier home environment, these resources help reduce stress and promote overall well-being. The sensory items we received are great. My students love all the \"squishy\" items, such as the therapy putty and squish ball. They also find calm in the headphones and mini bubble lamp. One of the biggest hits in my room is the magnetic balls and sticks. They are great fun but really help them focus on their fine motor skills. \r\nThe learning products we received have also been incredibly useful. The textured alphabet and number cards are so helpful since they use multiple senses to teach. We also received spelling games that combine multiple senses, such as pop it spelling, wood block spelling and magnetic ten frames.\r\nFinally, we got some great social emotional games to play.
