My students were so excited that we received so many new things for our classroom. We are using these resources during literacy stations. All the students are able to use them independently.\r\n The children are using the CVC letters and pictures to encode words and decode words. They are getting more confident in their reading abilities! The children are reading the Science Decodables. They are also writing about what they read in the books. They really enjoy reading about animals. They are developing their phonemic awareness by segmenting and blending sounds with the magnetic dry erase boards. I love how we are able to more reading and writing in science.\r\n The next steps are extending their reading with more sentences. I want to encourage them to write more sentences and add more details. My students have been using the new STEM activities during our hands-on learning blocks, and the level of engagement has been incredible. Last week, students worked in small groups to design and build bridges using one of the STEM kits. They were so focused, problem-solving, testing, and cheering each other on when their designs held strong. It was a proud teacher moment watching them collaborate and think like real engineers!\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw everything that arrived, their excitement was unforgettable. They were especially thrilled about the fun pencil sharpener—there was actually a line of students eager to try it out! One student shouted, \"This is the coolest sharpener ever!\" The Behavior Reward Jar has already become a classroom favorite too. Students are motivated to work together and earn rewards, and it has created such a positive, encouraging classroom environment.\r\n\r\nThe chair pockets and crayon box organizers have helped us stay much more organized, which has made transitions smoother and instructional time more productive. Students love having their own space to keep materials tidy, and they have taken a lot of pride in caring for the classroom.\r\n\r\nOur next steps include beginning STEM challenge Fridays, where students will rotate through different activities and record their solutions and reflections in STEM journals. They are already asking when they can start the next challenge!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generosity and belief in our classroom. Being able to physically move and combine pieces helped them see math in action and strengthened their understanding far more than worksheets alone ever could.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement.
