The new resources—LEGOs, magnetic tiles, Lincoln Logs, books, and STEM materials—are now an essential part of our daily learning. Students are using the building materials during STEM centers and small-group challenges to design towers, bridges, and imaginative structures. We recently completed a class project where students worked in teams to build a \"community,\" using LEGOs and magnetic tiles to create homes, schools, and roads. As they built, they practiced problem-solving, communication, and early engineering skills. The new books are woven into our literacy block and often inspire the structures students create afterward. When the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate and contagious. Eyes lit up, hands shot into the air, and they couldn't wait to explore. Many students dove right in, proudly sharing their creations and explaining how they made them. Even students who are usually quiet or hesitant became engaged, confident, and eager to participate. These resources will continue to support upcoming lessons focused on STEM challenges, storytelling through building, and collaborative problem-solving. Students will design structures based on stories we read, test stability and balance, and reflect on what worked and what they would improve. Because of you, learning feels joyful, meaningful, and accessible for every student. Thank you for giving our students the tools to imagine, create, and build bright futures—one block, book, and idea at a time.","fullyFundedDate":1768021608201,"projectUrl":"project/building-bright-minds-through-play-stem/9987921/","projectTitle":"Building Bright Minds Through Play, STEM, and Stories","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stone","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9269741_orig.jpg?crop=470,470,x537,y734&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1694388441716","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9269741"},{"teacherId":3643785,"projectId":9890782,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your incredible generosity to my classroom this winter.
