Seeing the students smile as they come in is priceless. Your kindness is already making a difference in ways that are easy to see and feel. Our students are incredibly bright and full of potential, and because of you, they now have a space that feels safe, welcoming, and made just for them.\r\n\r\nIt's been special to watch students walk in, settle into the space, and begin to open up. The calming lighting and fidget tools are helping them relax and stay present, while the encouraging messages around the room gently remind them of their worth and possibilities. Even something as simple as having access to a scanner has made a real impact, allowing students to take important steps toward college and job opportunities without added stress.\r\n\r\nWhat you've helped create goes far beyond a room; it's a space where students can slow down, feel safe, and know they matter. It's becoming a place where they can reflect, find calm, and begin to build confidence in who they are and where they're headed. Thank you for being part of something so meaningful and for the impact you're making in their lives.","fullyFundedDate":1768673915908,"projectUrl":"project/the-growth-zone/9995795/","projectTitle":"The Growth Zone","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Guillen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9354796"},{"teacherId":9348069,"projectId":9996462,"letterContent":"I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous support in providing essential art supplies to my students through Ðǿմ«Ã½. These resources do more than just facilitate projects; they empower students to take pride in their craftsmanship and develop a unique visual voice. Seeing their faces light up when they use the appropriate art supplies for an art project has been one of the most rewarding highlights of this school year. Your contribution has directly removed financial barriers, ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to excel in the arts. With your kindness, my students are building the confidence and critical thinking skills necessary for long-term academic and personal success. In addition, the students enjoy writing on the rolling whiteboard, so it has helped improve participation.\r\n\r\nMy students were extremely shocked and happy to see the new materials. The color printer allows us to produce high-quality, vibrant materials that make scientific concepts easier to understand, especially for visual learners and English Learners. Diagrams, charts, and lab instructions are now clearer and more meaningful, helping students better connect with the content. The Cricut machine has taken this even further by allowing us to create hands-on learning materials, interactive visuals, and customized resources that bring science concepts to life.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students the most is the ability to see their learning come alive in color and in physical form. They love working with materials that are visually appealing and interactive, whether it's using printed diagrams during labs or engaging with creative projects made using the Cricut. It has made learning feel more personal and enjoyable, and students are more motivated to participate and take pride in their work.\r\n\r\nI've especially noticed that students who struggle with focus or language barriers are more engaged and confident when using these materials. Instead of only seeing static images in a textbook, students can now draw, manipulate, and explore geometric figures in real time. They can test their ideas, make predictions, and immediately see the results. This kind of interactive learning helps them build a deeper understanding of concepts like angles, transformations, and symmetry—ideas that can be difficult to grasp without visual support.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is the ability to share their thinking. Using the iPad alongside our smart board, students can project their work, explain their reasoning, and collaborate with their peers. This has turned math into a much more engaging and student-centered experience. Even students who were once hesitant to participate are now eager to come up and demonstrate their ideas.\r\n\r\nI have seen particular growth in students who benefit from visual and hands-on learning. One student, who previously struggled to stay engaged during math lessons, now actively volunteers to use the iPad and explain solutions. The technology has given them confidence and a new way to express their understanding. It has also supported English language learners by allowing them to show their thinking visually, even when words are challenging.\r\n\r\nYour donation has not just provided a device—it has opened doors for creativity, collaboration, and deeper learning.
