Since receiving these materials, our resource room has continued to be a space where students feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and showing up as themselves while learning.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating options, including the Lapgear Turtle Tables and floor seating cushions, have been used daily during small-group instruction, especially during reading. Our small-group kidney table is not large enough for the number of students I serve at one time, so these seating options have allowed students to participate comfortably and stay engaged without losing access to instruction. Giving students choice in how and where they sit has supported regulation, focus, and independence, which has made a noticeable difference in their ability to participate and work toward their IEP goals.\r\n\r\nThe bilingual Lil' Libros STEAM book set will be used as an introduction to hands-on, project-based learning activities in the resource room. These Spanish-English books will support vocabulary development, language skills, and comprehension while introducing science, math, and engineering concepts in a way that feels engaging and relevant to students. For my multilingual learners, having access to content in both languages has helped them feel represented, confident, and included while accessing grade-level concepts.\r\n\r\nThe Epson EcoTank printer has been an essential tool for providing individualized instruction throughout the day. Because small-group instruction in the resource room is constantly adjusted based on student progress, the ability to quickly print differentiated materials, visual supports, and take-home resources has allowed me to meet student needs in real time. This has helped ensure instruction stays aligned to each student's goals and supports consistent learning both in the classroom and at home.\r\n\r\nOverall, these materials have strengthened the learning environment in our resource room by increasing access, flexibility, and student engagement. They have directly supported students' academic progress, confidence, and sense of belonging, and have made a meaningful difference in how students access and participate in instruction each day.","fullyFundedDate":1769141590174,"projectUrl":"project/creating-inclusive-flexible-and-nouris/10035261/","projectTitle":"Creating Inclusive, Flexible, and Nourishing Learning Spaces for Every Learner","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Shankara","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10409791_orig.jpg?crop=922,922,x0,y104&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768628588358","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/msshankara1"},{"teacherId":9351299,"projectId":7995819,"letterContent":"I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the impact of your support on our math project with the manipulatives.
