For many of my students, having access to a full range of colors meant more than just making things \"pretty.\" It meant being able to show their thinking, their feelings, and their creativity in ways they couldn't before.\r\n\r\nI've watched students slow down and become more intentional as they choose colors. Their work has become richer, more expressive, and more confident. Color has given them a voice.\r\n\r\nAlongside the art supplies, the tangram puzzles have sparked a different kind of magic. As students rotate, flip, and rearrange the pieces, I see curiosity turn into concentration. They test ideas, revise their thinking, and persevere when a solution doesn't come right away. These puzzles have become powerful tools for developing logical thinking, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving skills, all while feeling like play.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students are creating, questioning, experimenting, and thinking deeply every day. They are interested and locked in and they really put forth their best effort. \r\n\r\nAlso, the classroom supplies, like Kleenex help us stay healthy and clean in the classroom. Although I cannot include photos of students for privacy reasons, I have included photos of one of the projects made possible by your donation. \r\n\r\nStudents were asked to research books which were similar to the ones they have previously read and enjoyed. This project was called a Read-A-Like. Students researched their favorite books and then reccomended similar titles to their peers in a flyer-type handout. \r\n\r\nA booklet was then created for students to reference when they are in the library showing the covers of the books that are similar to the ones they are interested in.
