Because of your generosity, our students now have access to tools that support independence, responsibility, and meaningful learning experiences. These resources are helping create an environment where students feel confident using technology as part of their daily learning, especially in shared spaces like the school library.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for students is having access to tools that feel purposeful and empowering. The technology allows them to complete tasks independently, stay organized, and take ownership of their learning. Students are eager to engage because the tools are intuitive and help learning feel accessible rather than overwhelming.\r\n\r\nThis project has been especially impactful for students who benefit from structure and hands on learning. Many have shown increased confidence and pride as they successfully use the technology on their own. Thank you for believing in our students, for supporting our vision, and for helping us raise expectations by providing the right tools to succeed. Your support has made a meaningful and lasting impact.","fullyFundedDate":1768340908908,"projectUrl":"project/raising-expectations-with-the-right-tool/10011232/","projectTitle":"Raising Expectations With the Right Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Grass","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9614708_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1722652954677","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9614708"},{"teacherId":9614708,"projectId":9899349,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our Bookmark Maker Station. When my students first saw the materials, they were excited and eager to get started right away. Many of them immediately began talking about their favorite books and how they wanted to design bookmarks to match the stories they were reading. Their enthusiasm and creativity truly filled the library.\r\n\r\nWe use the Bookmark Maker Station during library time as a meaningful extension of reading. After choosing books, students create bookmarks that reflect characters, themes, or personal reading goals. This station has encouraged creativity, strengthened fine motor skills, and helped students take pride in caring for their books while developing positive reading habits.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue using the station alongside reading challenges and genre exploration. They are excited to design bookmarks for different genres and share their creations with classmates. Your generosity has made reading more engaging, personal, and joyful for my students. Many of the students in my class come from low socio-economic status (SES) households, which often means they are not afforded the same experiences their peers from higher SES households are lucky enough to experience. As such, it has always been my mission to create positive core memories for my students. Not only do I want them to think of school in a positive way, I want to give them experiences they normally would not be able to have. \r\n\r\nOnly a handful of my students have gone camping, so I knew this project would be hugely impactful. It was like Christmas morning when my students walked into a classroom completely transformed into a campground. The tents I received were set up in a circle- the twinkle lights casting a magical glow through the white canvas. The play logs were circling the play fire. The greenery was drapped all around the room, which really added to the nature effect. The looks on every second grade face when they walked into their magical camping day made the hard work to set it up worth it a million times over. \r\n\r\nThroughout the day, students engaged in camping themed ELA, social studies, and science- based activities. They learned a lot, perhaps gained a newfound love of the outdoors, and had the time of their lives reading in their tents, under the \"stars\". \r\n\r\nThank you for being a part of this transformative day that will be a part of every class I teach for many years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1746614909516,"projectUrl":"project/a-school-year-to-remember-for-years-to-c/9149156/","projectTitle":"A School Year to Remember for Years to Come","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Pitts","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3099190_orig.jpg?crop=1920,1920,x0,y153&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1698939659458","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3099190"},{"teacherId":9370995,"projectId":9380625,"letterContent":"A heartfelt thank-you to our amazing donors for purchasing rolling carts for our kindergarteners. We appreciate your kindness and support more than you know! \r\n\r\nHaving an organized space that holds all their daily essentials as been very helpful.
