I have been able to incorporate the devices into my classrooms on both the classroom level and on an individual level. These devices have been particularly effective because they are small and portable. Since they are not reliant on internet connection or tablet based, students are accepting and understanding that the devices are used for communication. I am seeing a quick pace of success. \r\n\r\nI have programmed each of the devices to contain core words such as \"yes and no\" as well as words like \"open\" or \"help\". In addition, each device has some of the student's favorite items or activities. This ranges from things like tickles or painting. Students are able to bring their devices with them throughout the day and all spontaneous attempts at communication are validated and honored. \r\n\r\nI have been excited to share these devices with parents who are also able to gain access to them to incorporate into their home environement.","fullyFundedDate":1746478494358,"projectUrl":"project/simple-aac-devices-for-communication/9239384/","projectTitle":"Simple AAC Devices for Communication","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Paczkowski","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9992832"},{"teacherId":9794332,"projectId":8859994,"letterContent":"I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for fulfilling this amazing contribution to my classroom!!!!
