The ability to provide students with snacks and small meals throughout the day, without having to spend more of my money at the grocery store, has been a great thing for me and my students!\r\n\r\nNow that the students know that I have snacks, they usually stop in and grab a snack bar or some Goldfish or fruit snacks as they're walking by my room headed to their next class. Many of my students eat breakfast before they come to school, around 6:30 or 7am, and then don't have lunch until 12:30 or 1pm. Without having access to snacks, my students very often lose energy and focus as the day goes on, and they become preoccupied with watching the clock and waiting for their lunch period to arrive. My student athletes also enjoy having a snack or small meal (mac and cheese or noodles) at the end of the day, before they have to board the bus to travel to away games. \r\n\r\nMy students have been so appreciative every time they're able to have a snack, and in turn, I'm so appreciative of your willingness to support my donation request!
