As a newly certified speech-language pathologist in a Title I elementary school, I work with students from Pre-K through 5th grade who have diverse communication needs, including speech and language delays, social communication challenges, and students who are nonspeaking. Because of you, my therapy room is now a calm, welcoming space where students feel safe, regulated, and ready to communicate. The sensory friendly materials have helped students manage big emotions, while the interactive speech and language tools have made learning engaging and accessible. When students first saw the materials, their excitement and curiosity were immediate, and many were eager to participate in ways they hadn't before. These resources are now supporting meaningful communication, confidence, and connection that extend beyond our sessions.
