My students have been actively using the new resources during our daily lessons, and it has truly transformed how they engage with their learning.\r\n\r\nOne special moment that stood out was during a recent lesson where students used the materials to work collaboratively in small groups. As we've been working on comparing and contrasting in reading, as well as understanding and interpreting graphs, the resources have helped bring these skills to life. Students were able to dive deeper into texts, make meaningful connections, and confidently discuss similarities and differences. The resources are also used as an added incentive to increase participation! \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were immediately curious and their faces lit up with pure joy and excitement. There were smiles, gasps, and so many eager hands ready to dive right in. \r\n\r\nAs we are in the homestretch of the school year, we are continuing to build on this momentum. Our next steps include using these resources to strengthen the skills we've been practicing, while also encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Students will apply what they've learned through hands-on activities and projects that help prepare them for the next grade level.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students opportunities that inspire them to learn, grow, and believe in themselves. They are learning about the geography, government, and culture of other countries around them. We have previously learned about all of the Spanish-Speaking countries in a broad context, but this project allows them to dive deeper, learning more about a single country. Students are also refining their research skills along the way.\r\n\r\nYour support has allowed us to continue doing this project and display them in the hallway outside of the Spanish classroom for others to see!","fullyFundedDate":1771984214394,"projectUrl":"project/spanish-speaking-country-project/9977727/","projectTitle":"Spanish-Speaking Country Project","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Houston","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10318058_orig.jpg?crop=1269,1269,x112,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1760716087558","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10318058"},{"teacherId":9688819,"projectId":9621789,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom. Truly, every single item has been used and appreciated more than I can probably put into words. When my students first saw the materials, they were so excited and immediately started asking questions—where did this come from, who sent it, and even if they could ask their families for something similar. It turned into a really meaningful moment where they realized that there are people out there who care about them and their learning, which is something I don't take lightly.\r\n\r\nThe impact in our day-to-day classroom has been very real. The anchor chart paper, for example, has made such a difference. Before, I would sometimes catch myself holding back from making anchor charts just to save paper, which doesn't feel right as a teacher. Now, we use it freely, and it has made our thinking and learning so much more visible. The magnetic sentence strips have also been amazing—being able to model, move things around, and reuse them has made our lessons more interactive and flexible. And honestly, even having enough glue has changed things, because we no longer have to avoid certain activities just because we don't have the materials.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful impacts has been the foot bands. Around the same time these materials arrived, a student with significant special needs joined our classroom. These bands have helped him regulate his body and feel calmer and more comfortable throughout the day. Seeing that shift in him has been incredibly important for me and for our classroom as a whole.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, it is such a relief to have what we need. It means I don't have to constantly adjust or limit activities because of missing supplies, and instead I can focus on what actually matters—my students and their learning. Your support made that possible, and I am deeply grateful.\r\n\r\nThank you for thinking of our classroom and for making a real difference in our students' daily experience.","fullyFundedDate":1766503386311,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-essentials-that-matter/9621789/","projectTitle":"Classroom Essentials That Matter","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Miranda","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9688819"},{"teacherId":10318058,"projectId":9842146,"letterContent":"Thank you again for your donation to provide Spanish workbooks for my Middle School Spanish Classes!
