Students enjoy picking which color smiley face they are going to sit on and appreciate that they have their own space without feeling crowded by classmates! \r\nThe class utilizes the rug during our daily whole group ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies lessons. Small groups of students also enjoy spreading out on the rug for a comfy place to work during their station activities. \r\nIt's not only a comfortable place to gather to work, but it's also a bright focal spot in our classroom. Playing the recorder also builds a strong foundation for transitioning to more complex woodwind instruments later on.
