They love the popsicle game and there are many ways to use it--putting the alphabet in order, matching a beginning sound to the word and more. The writing activity that comes with little pouches of words is really great too for my more proficient students. Puzzles are always a hit, so the 4 letter puzzles have already been used a few times. The story board puzzles are good for students who. need help speaking. Almost all of these materials allow the children to work independently or in their small group to strengthen their developing literacy skills. A special shout out to the Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation.
