They were starting to get a little dirty, so the girls were happy to not have to work out on dirty mats! Having a vacuum to clean my cheer mats has been incredibly beneficial for both safety and overall cleanliness. Regularly vacuuming the mats removes dirt, dust, hair, and small debris that can build up quickly with daily use. This not only helps maintain a professional appearance in the cheer space, but also reduces allergens and keeps the environment healthier for athletes. Most importantly, clean mats improve traction and help prevent slips, which supports athlete safety during stunts, tumbling, and jumps. By using a vacuum consistently, I am able to extend the life of the mats, protect our investment, and provide a cleaner, safer practice area for my cheerleaders.
