We use whiteboards as vertical non-permanent surfaces every day in Math class, and this stand-up whiteboard is such an improvement over the plastic one I had previously stapled to the wall in that location in the classroom. Students are randomly assigned a whiteboard every day via a set of playing cards, and even after a month students are still saying \"I hope I get to be at Whiteboard 6 today\" and \"I hope I get to be at the good one!\" \r\n\r\nThis whiteboard is high quality and sturdy, and as an unexpected bonus, the fact that it is so mobile has also let me use it to record student thinking in science as we have been developing a working definition for what life is. The ability to have it in place for Math, then to keep student work on the board while rolling it into the center of the room for us to think about what evidence is high-quality enough to consider something to be a living thing has been a game-changer for my pedagogy and student understanding.\r\n\r\nThank you so very much for your contribution to our classroom! My students this year really appreciate it and I know that my future students will continue to do so considering how sturdy it is. Various students throughout the day will ask for materials and ask for access to many things, and thanks to you all these students have that. When students first were able to see many of the things that were provided, they were ecstatic and were more receptive to the things occurring in class. My next steps for many of my students is to be able to continue to provide many items where they can feel welcomed in school, as they may or may not have access to certain items at home.","fullyFundedDate":1754520716524,"projectUrl":"project/little-everyday-necessities-for-middle-s/9514159/","projectTitle":"Little Everyday Necessities for Middle School Students","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Samuel Osorio","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8034614_orig.jpg?crop=1080,1080,x0,y241&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753829890471","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8034614"},{"teacherId":802777,"projectId":9558660,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom and providing the items from our project! We can now neatly organize and tuck everything away when it's not in use, which helps our space feel calmer and more functional for my students. Store days are an important part of our life-skills program, and thanks to you, the experience is smoother, more accessible, and even more exciting for them.\r\n\r\nThe \"fuzzy feet\" for our chairs have been a game-changer. Many of my students have significant sensory needs, and the sound of chairs scraping on the floor was a big challenge.
