Recess has been much more engaging and allowed students to truly play and have fun. Students have been learning to share and make friends by playing with others with the equipment. Students who don't usually have anyone to play with have found new friends simply because they both wanted to play with the velcro toss and catch toys. \r\n\r\nThe students were overjoyed to see that we had so many great new toys to play with. They had run out of ideas for what to play with their friends and now they have some many things to choose from. Everyday, when the bag of recess toys comes out, they are jumping with joy to grab something to play with. \r\n\r\nSoon I will be starting a morning enrichment club. She students have see the materials I plan to use for this club and they are so excited.
