They were not only so so excited as each package arrived, being able to use these items for different activities and evens has been so memorable. For example. they were able to take their instruments on our \"Red Ribbon Week Parade\" and used them to cheer for being drug free. They love using these for different lessons we do during our reading and social studies time. The scarves have also brought a lot of excitement into our lessons. Being able to simply answer with a scarf raised in the air encourages their movement and engagement into the lesson. \r\n\r\nUsing the books that would sent in this projects, students have been able to identify key literary elements, SEL targets, and strengthen their participation in lesson. They often seek these books out when they are needing a little pick me up. \r\n\r\nThe motivational stickers, colored paper, pencils, and colored pencils and markers have excited students who are normally reluctant to complete work. They get to take the \"special marker box\" to their table to complete assignments, which by itself is a motivator. Colored pens used on their work has also been a game changer for some students. Having access to these supplies, has honestly been the turn around for some students and for that, I am extremely grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1757352137934,"projectUrl":"project/incorporating-fine-arts-into-my-classroo/9446510/","projectTitle":"Incorporating Fine Arts Into My Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Roach","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9610711_orig.jpg?crop=3422,3422,x392,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724150664638","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9610711"},{"teacherId":9610711,"projectId":8978267,"letterContent":"In the spring we received the funds to refill our supplies including colored paper, pencils, and glue. Just simply having colored paper engages students in activities they would otherwise not be interested in. \r\n\r\nThe donation of Kleenex and hand sanitizer has also been crucial for the function of my classroom. During back to school, while many families are able to donate to their classrooms, unfortunately I received only a few containers of tissues and hand sanitizer. We have relied mostly on your donation. During the early fall, students were so congested and we were using a box a day of tissues. Your donations have helped us function without me having to purchase these items multiple times so far. \r\n\r\nIt may seem so simple to donate things such as paper, pencils, Kleenex and hand sanitizer, but not having to worry about stocking these items takes such a mental load off. I truly appreciate the time you took and the funds you so generously gave to support my students. This has allowed me to focus on engaging students and support their learning without having to stop and purchase Kleenex on my way home.","fullyFundedDate":1743104045889,"projectUrl":"project/replenish-our-supply-closet/8978267/","projectTitle":"Replenish Our Supply Closet","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Roach","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9610711_orig.jpg?crop=3422,3422,x392,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724150664638","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9610711"},{"teacherId":7854145,"projectId":8914729,"letterContent":"Thank you forte materials for my classroom. Now, with these materials available the students are more eager to check out books. In the school library they can check out books but they must wait two weeks to select new ones.
