Your contribution has made a real and immediate impact on my students, and I'm excited to share how we've been using the new resources.\r\n\r\n\r\nAs part of our Child Development class, the new materials have helped bring our lessons to life. One of the most memorable moments so far was during a hands-on activity where students explored different developmental stages using the new visual aids and tools. It was inspiring to watch them take ownership of their learning and bring such energy and insight to the classroom.\r\n\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were excited and full of curiosity. Some of them said, \"This feels like a real lab now!\" and \"I can't wait to use this for our next project.\" It truly made them feel seen and supported.\r\n\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the semester, our next steps include a childcare simulation project, where students will apply what they've learned about infant and toddler development. Thanks to you, they now have the tools to create realistic caregiving scenarios, analyze developmental milestones, and even reflect on their own growth as future caregivers, educators, or parents.\r\n\r\n\r\nThank you again for being part of our classroom journey. Your generosity is helping shape thoughtful, informed, and inspired young minds.","fullyFundedDate":1742936731389,"projectUrl":"project/exploring-developmentally-appropriate-pl/9128098/","projectTitle":"Exploring Developmentally Appropriate Play: Hands-On Learning for Future Educators","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Atkinson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9774941"},{"teacherId":9774941,"projectId":8890368,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom! The new resources have had an incredible impact on our students and their learning experiences.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the materials, we've been able to implement new projects that engage students in ways that were previously challenging. For example, one of our recent projects involved using the new interactive learning tools to explore history through hands-on activities. My students worked in small groups to research a historical period, create presentations, and share what they learned with the class. They were thrilled to work with new resources that made learning feel more interactive and relevant. It sparked so many rich conversations about history, and they took great pride in presenting their findings.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their reactions were priceless. Many of them were excited to dive right in and immediately started exploring the resources. Their eyes lit up, and they couldn't wait to get their hands on the new materials. It created a buzz of energy in the classroom that we hadn't experienced before.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next step is to build on the current project by encouraging students to connect what they've learned to real-world applications. For example, we'll be using the new resources to simulate historical events and explore how different choices could have impacted outcomes. We're excited to continue deepening their understanding and engagement with these topics.\r\n\r\nYour contribution is helping create a classroom environment where learning is both fun and meaningful, and we can't wait to see how these resources continue to empower our students on their educational journeys. It is encouraging to see the growth in socializing and activation of imagination while students try this new-to-them activity. The 3D pens offered students the opportunity to engage outside of their phones.\r\n\r\nWhen we first started the project, students were interested but a bit reluctant to try something that required them to use some undereused skills such as imagination and eye-hand coordination. Initially they were slow to participate, but as more students tried the pens, the interest grew. As students became more confident with the pens, their creativity increased.\r\n\r\nWe set the norms that students learn each others names and problem-solve together when using the using the pens. This not only helped them to engage more deeply with the activity but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration.\r\n\r\nI am looking forward to seeing more connections with and between students.","fullyFundedDate":1726424865883,"projectUrl":"project/imagination-creation-conversation-with/8781850/","projectTitle":"Imagination, Creation, Conversation with 3D Pen Library MakerSpace","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kuhn","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9749703"},{"teacherId":9774941,"projectId":8851905,"letterContent":"How are you and your students using the new resources? Share a specific classroom project or moment.\r\nMy students are using the new materials to create vibrant and meaningful scrapbooks as part of our child development class. This project allows them to document key concepts they've learned about the stages of child development while expressing their creativity. Recently, I witnessed a group of students collaborating to design pages filled with drawings, photos, and reflections on milestones in early childhood—a moment that highlighted both their teamwork and understanding of the material.\r\n\r\nHow did your students react when they first saw the materials?\r\nThe excitement in the classroom was infectious! As soon as the materials arrived, students were eagerly unpacking and sharing ideas on how to use them. Their enthusiasm grew as they realized the variety of supplies allowed them to personalize their scrapbooks, making each one unique and special. Several students even said, \"This is the most fun we've had in class all year!\"\r\n\r\nWhat are the next steps for your students on a current classroom lesson or project?\r\nThe next steps include completing their scrapbook pages while connecting their designs to real-world child development theories. Each student will present their scrapbook as part of a final project, explaining how their designs represent different stages of development. This activity not only reinforces their learning but also builds presentation and communication skills. Thanks to your generosity, my students are inspired, engaged, and eager to showcase their work!","fullyFundedDate":1728756452164,"projectUrl":"project/a-journey-through-time-scrapbook/8851905/","projectTitle":"A Journey Through Time Scrapbook","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Atkinson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9774941"},{"teacherId":9767531,"projectId":8947381,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity.
