Wyatt after school guitar club! The club has slowly been growing, and we now have the supplies to teach more students.\r\n\r\nThe kids (and my co-sponsoring teacher) were so psyched to see the new guitars and amps! They enjoy experimenting with the different sound and feel of each piece. We are able to not only support more students in learning to play the guitar, the few who had guitars at home no longer have to lug all their equipment with them to school to practice. It has been so helpful.\r\n\r\nAnother advantage to having the equipment is students have some variety of equipment to try out before they make any purchase, and having the right equipment makes a difference in whether they end up sticking with guitar or not. It means so much to me that you decided to support our students. Thank you again.","fullyFundedDate":1767378271729,"projectUrl":"project/fort-worth-after-school-guitar-club/9706650/","projectTitle":"Fort Worth After School Guitar Club!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Avalos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8351060_orig.png?crop=233,233,x0,y9&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757639838503","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8351060"},{"teacherId":9788911,"projectId":9631943,"letterContent":"At first they didn't believe that we had received the items they thought we were not telling but when they finally saw the items they became a bit happy but still a little stand offish because they believe that people don't do things unless \r\nthey want something from you. We had to explain they there were no strings attached to receiving the items for this program. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWe appreciate the donation to our class, it has been used consistently by our students. The area that we setup for them to use as a corner to relax and been calm to themselves is much appreciated by all the students and us teachers as well. The students spend more time on the carpet and beanbag than they due at their desk since we received the items, so i know they really do appreciated all that was done for them. My more sensitive students also love the wall that we created, it has to be changed often to accommodate them. We can't say thank you enough for this most generous donation.","fullyFundedDate":1758636805616,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-up/9631943/","projectTitle":"Sensory Up","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mccloud","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9788911"},{"teacherId":9774941,"projectId":9128098,"letterContent":"I want to sincerely thank you for your generous support of my classroom project. Your contribution has made a real and immediate impact on my students, and I'm excited to share how we've been using the new resources.\r\n\r\n\r\nAs part of our Child Development class, the new materials have helped bring our lessons to life. One of the most memorable moments so far was during a hands-on activity where students explored different developmental stages using the new visual aids and tools. It was inspiring to watch them take ownership of their learning and bring such energy and insight to the classroom.\r\n\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were excited and full of curiosity. Some of them said, \"This feels like a real lab now!\" and \"I can't wait to use this for our next project.\" It truly made them feel seen and supported.\r\n\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the semester, our next steps include a childcare simulation project, where students will apply what they've learned about infant and toddler development. Thanks to you, they now have the tools to create realistic caregiving scenarios, analyze developmental milestones, and even reflect on their own growth as future caregivers, educators, or parents.\r\n\r\n\r\nThank you again for being part of our classroom journey.
