My Algebra students struggle with disabilities ranging from difficulties with learning, autism and intellectual disabilities. Their learning needs are very different from the general student. They need visuals and more hands-on methods to acquire instruction.\r\n\r\nHaving the technology to use an online graphing calculator instead of the handheld TI-84 calculator has given my students a chance to bridge the gap between general and special education. My students started out the school year not meeting grade level standards. After our last test, my students on average are meeting grade level standards with 13% of my students mastering standards. \r\n\r\nThis growth is incredible and we attribute this growth to access to our top notch technology donation.
