Having the supplies available for all of the students before and after school allowed for plenty of time for memories to be made! The donations allowed for such a variety of mask decorations as well. From having a choice between feathers, paint, gems and more - every mask was as beautiful and unique as the students creating them.\r\n\r\nHomecoming was a success and so many students were carrying their masks through the night. I personally have one leftover mask hanging in my room, not only as a memory but a conversation piece and testament to the impact/origin.\r\n\r\nThank you again, truly, from the bottom of our hearts. The variety of items that were donated to my classroom have been consistently used throughout each week by my students. Whether students needed a new pencil to replace a broken one, or if they used dry erase boards to collaborate with a group on a team building assignment, we have thoroughly enjoyed using the materials to enhance our day to day learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials showed up in our classroom, it was like a surprise birthday party! The students were excited to see what we had received and the items opened the doors for many important conversations. These conversations included respecting classroom materials. Students knew that these were a gift and understood the value that must be placed on the materials. It also created conversations about gratitude. Knowing they had monetary support through your donations was eye opening for students- and we are forever grateful!\r\n\r\nAs we enter the new semester, we are still utilizing all the materials that started us off on the right foot this school year. Students don't have to stress about what to do if they are unable to obtain necessary classroom supplies on their own in the event they forget or don't have something. Thank you for your part in supporting my students and helping them focus on their studies because they know lack of school supplies won't be a barrier to their success.
