They crowded around each box, guessing what might be inside, and their faces absolutely lit up when they saw all the alphabet games, puzzles, and STEM kits. One of my students whispered, \"This is all for us?\" and the look of pure joy and pride on their faces was something I will never forget.\r\n\r\nWe began using the materials right away during our literacy center and science center. The Alphabet Acorns, matching eggs, and magnetic mazes have transformed our letter-learning time into hands-on exploration. Students who once hesitated during letter identification activities are now racing to match letters, sorting colors, and proudly showing their friends when they find a match. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who struggles with fine motor skills use the magnetic stylus on the alphabet maze; he looked up and said, \"I can do it by myself!\" These tools have given him confidence that I haven't seen before.\r\n\r\nThe GeoSafari Talking Microscope also opened up a new world for my students. We are currently learning about living and nonliving things, and the microscope has helped them observe insects and plants up close.\r\n\r\nThe STEM Engineering & Design Kit has been especially helpful during small groups. Students have been building bridges, houses, and even \"animal playgrounds.\" These challenges have encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance. I've seen children who don't normally work together suddenly collaborating, negotiating, and celebrating their creations.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these materials will continue to strengthen our literacy and STEM foundations. Our next steps include using the alphabet puzzles to begin forming simple CVC words and integrating the STEM kits into weekly engineering challenges. These resources are helping my students become confident learners who are excited to explore, ask questions, and try new things.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made our classroom a place where learning feels like play and where every child feels successful. Your generosity immediately brought a huge spark of creativity and excitement to our classrooms, and we're already putting those spools to incredible use.\r\nTo introduce our students and teachers to the printers, we chose 3D designs that were aligned to what they learning in the classroom—making the prints feel extra special! Teachers then used these prints as incentives for their students.\r\nFor example, students studying body systems were thrilled to earn 3D printed heart keychains, while those learning about electricity received cool light bulb keychains. And even our youngest learners in kindergarten got involved, earning beautiful flower trophies while learning about the plant life cycle!\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching a student proudly show me the heart key chain she had earned. Not only did this initial exposure spark serious student interest in designing, but it also got the teachers excited about how we can collaborate to make even more relevant 3D designs for their classes and students. It's been so much fun to watch!\r\nThis is just the beginning! Moving forward, now that the interest has been truly ignited, our next big goal is to start having students use Tinkercad to create their very own original 3D designs for printing. Your filaments will directly support their journey from imagining an idea to holding it in their hands, turning every student into a designer and innovator.\r\nThank you again for believing in our students and our project. In the small groups where students are strengthening their analysis skills, we are using the markers and chart paper to organize what we read through group annotations, and also showing our thinking as we answer comprehension and inferential questions. The students enjoy getting to annotate as a group and take turns recording the various elements of plot for fictional texts. As a teacher, I grateful to demonstrate my thinking and model how to annotate questions and answer choices to zero in on the correct answer.\r\n\r\nThe snack donations for the Student Care Cart are positively impacting students across the campus, daily. Every item funded through this project has had a direct and meaningful impact on my students' daily routines and academic success. They absolutely love all of the new supplies and use them every single day. These resources have made our classroom more efficient, and more enjoyable for everyone involved.\r\n\r\nOne of the most noticeable changes has been the excitement and sense of pride my students feel about their materials. When they first saw all the new supplies—especially the colorful folders, notebooks, and new headphones—their faces lit up with pure joy. Many of them immediately started organizing their desks and labeling their folders by subject. The color-coded system has been an absolute game-changer for keeping them organized and on task. Each subject has its own designated color, making it easy for students to quickly grab the correct materials from their desks. This small organizational improvement has saved us so much time during transitions and has helped all the students to develop responsibility and independence.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have been another invaluable resource. In my classroom, I have a few students who benefit from accommodations and additional support, and the headphones have allowed them to focus during independent work and assessments. This has helped my classroom to block out distractions and create a sense of calm, especially for those who need a quiet space to concentrate. During reading lessons or online assignments, I've noticed that students who once struggled to stay on task are now more engaged and confident. The headphones give them the ability to work at their own pace without feeling overwhelmed by the noise or activity around them. It's been wonderful to see how much their confidence and independence have grown since we began using them.\r\n\r\nThe pencil erasers have become a classroom favorite! It might sound simple, but they've made such a difference. My students use them constantly, especially during math and reading activities. Whether they're solving multi-step problems, editing writing pieces, or writing key words in a passage, those erasers are always in use. I've noticed how much more willing students are to take risks and try challenging problems when they know they can easily fix their mistakes. It has encouraged a growth mindset—students understand that it's okay to make an error because learning often happens in the process of correcting it.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite classroom moments since receiving these materials was during a reading small group. Students were using their journals to annotate notes and jot down important details as they discussed the story together. They were completely focused and thoughtful, referring back to their journals and sharing insights with one another. The organization and tools made it seamless for each student to stay on track and engaged. I could see the confidence on their faces as they participated in meaningful discussions and supported each other's ideas.\r\n\r\nThanks you, I am so appreciative, my students have the tools they need to succeed each day. You didn't just provide classroom supplies, you gave my students a sense of ownership, pride, and excitement about learning. Every eraser, notebook, and pair of headphones, and all the other supplies represents an opportunity for them to grow and thrive. We are so grateful for your generosity and for believing in the importance of supporting classrooms like ours.
