The idea of being part of an official e-sports club is something truly enjoy. It gives them a sense of pride, belonging, and something positive to look forward to at school.\r\n\r\nThere's one student who immediately comes to mind. She had been consistently unmotivated in math, often disengaged and rarely turning in work. When she heard about the opportunity to join our new e-sports club, everything changed. The chance to be part of something fun, team-oriented, and unique gave her a reason to take ownership of her learning. She started completing assignments, participating in class, and even asking for extra help so she could meet the expectations needed to join the club. What's even more inspiring is how she's become a champion for others. She's been talking to classmates who are in similar situations, encouraging them to step up so they can be part of the club too. This improvement has reduced the amount of time it takes for students to start class and get ready to learn. \r\n\r\nMy students were happy to not use our broken system of plastic drawers any longer. They like that the horizontal layout means multiple students can access the materials at the same time. However, we are always learning on how to better utilize our organizer. Students decided to not store everything they use in class, but only journals and folders. \r\n\r\nFor my students that have that extra energy or simply need to fidget, the chairs bands have been a good outlet.
