The Germ-X hand sanitizer allows students and staff to clean their hands immediately upon entering the clinic, helping reduce the spread of germs throughout the school day. The disinfecting wipes and sanitizing spray make it possible to thoroughly clean high-touch surfaces between each student visit, keeping the clinic consistently clean and safe. The addition of an air purifier has greatly improved air quality, helping reduce airborne germs and creating a healthier environment for everyone. They couldn't believe these tools were for them! It felt like Christmas morning in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWe immediately put the resources to use. The wireless keyboard and mouse combo have been a game changer to make movement during teaching a breeze.\r\n\r\nThe laminating pouches have allowed us to preserve materials needed for communication and everyday work folders. It had made work reusable and the kids love to use it as a dry erase surface. \r\n\r\nOne really special moment came when a student used the presentation clicker during a group presentation. It gave them a boost of confidence and added a sense of real-world professionalism to their project. That moment sparked a wave of interest—now everyone wants a turn to be the \"presenter\" using the clicker!\r\n\r\nAll of the materials have helped tremendously and we are so grateful.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your support—it's not just about supplies, but about the creativity, engagement, and confidence you've sparked in my students.","fullyFundedDate":1755687019905,"projectUrl":"project/teaching-essentials/9540233/","projectTitle":"Teaching Essentials","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Coleman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7385389_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y504&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1691431553400","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/anacoleman"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_99519","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":536,"numTeachers":45,"percentFrplEligible":71,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":50,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":45,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"11.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":88.2,"schoolId":99519,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Piney Woods Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Piney Woods Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/splendora-independent-school-district/piney-woods-elementary-school/99519"}
