Working in small teams, students thoughtfully planned their designs and used the materials creatively to decorate their houses, which were proudly displayed throughout the hallway for our school community to enjoy.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the supplies, their excitement was immediate and contagious. Big smiles, wide eyes, and enthusiastic questions like, \"Are we really building gingerbread houses?\" filled the room. That excitement carried straight into the lesson, and students eagerly jumped into designing and creating.\r\n\r\nAs a special highlight, students later showcased their completed gingerbread houses at the UIL Academic Meet held on campus. This experience gave them an opportunity to share their hard work, creativity, and problem‑solving skills with others.
