We started the year with a record number enrolled in choir at 60% growth! The choir binders, pencil pouches and highlighters were a huge blessing to ensure each singer had what they needed for the year. \r\n\r\nOur younger students have begun mid-year assessments in music, which can be a daunting and boring task. However, having fresh packs of crayons to go with our engaging assessments makes it that much more fun. Our Kindergarten classes begin the year with a unit on farm animal songs, and it's been a blast incorporating songbooks with our units. Oftentimes, songs about farm animals are known from preschool experiences, so this unit allows us to build on what these little musicians know. \r\n\r\nOur new biography books have been a source of learning for the older students in third and fourth grades.
