We're using the wiggle stools and chair bands during book clubs and math partner work so students can settle into the spots that help them do their best thinking. When the materials arrived, students were energized to try everything. We built in time for them to explore, reflect, and choose what worked—and they took that responsibility seriously.\r\n\r\nThe impact showed up right away. During a recent math rotation, one student who often fidgets chose a wiggle stool and was able to complete more problems and stay engaged during reading. As he put it: \"I can wiggle and still focus!\" Across the class, I'm seeing stronger on‑task time, smoother group work, and a more inclusive atmosphere where every learner can find a good fit.\r\n\r\nNext up, we'll use the flexible seating in our next book club cycle and math partner rotations, with students reflecting on which options help them focus for different tasks. The cleaning supplies are helping us keep the space safe and ready so everyone can learn comfortably.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in a classroom where movement and choice support real learning. Your gift is making a daily difference.","fullyFundedDate":1746785798751,"projectUrl":"project/choose-your-spot-transforming-learning/9116885/","projectTitle":"Choose Your Spot: Transforming Learning Spaces","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Eastmond","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9596724_orig.jpg?crop=2140,2140,x0,y370&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723341637063","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9596724"},{"teacherId":7633418,"projectId":9650623,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to help our classroom. Our students and classroom have benefited greatly because of you. Currently, our class has 11 girls and 18 boys. It was like Christmas morning when packages started arriving. Students were thrilled to see what our classroom had received, and they were more than eager to start using our new seating options.\r\n\r\nWith your donation, our class was able to purchase 3 wiggle seat stools. These have been an incredible help with flexibility and focus throughout the school day. Students love these seats so much that we have had to create a schedule so everyone can enjoy using them. Our hope is to be able to purchase a few more of these for our classroom. These stools are really sturdy and are definitely loved.\r\n\r\nOur classroom also received some soft. cushion seats to use within the classroom. They have really enjoyed having these cushions as an option for sitting on. We do have other wiggle seats to sit on, but some students prefer not to have so much air or sensory feelings. It is a great feeling to see students independently try and pick out seating that will help them focus throughout the day.\r\n\r\nOur class was also able to purchase a cushion cart holder to help stack and organize wiggle seats that students use throughout the day. This has helped free up some additional bookshelf space in our room and created a designated space for our wiggle seats. It is also nice to see students take responsibility and put their items away properly.","fullyFundedDate":1757627010651,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating/9650623/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. O'Roark","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7633418_orig.png?crop=489,489,x10,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1604502644489","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7633418"},{"teacherId":7632658,"projectId":9564314,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting Small Rewards, Big Motivation! During our recent reading challenge, students worked harder and took more risks, like volunteering to read aloud, because they knew their effort would be recognized.\r\n\r\nWe are now using the rewards daily to celebrate academic growth, teamwork, and effort.
