The large magnetic coordinate plane grids and Black Expo dry erase markers have given students the opportunity to stand, discuss, and problem-solve together in small groups of two to three at vertical whiteboards around the classroom. Students truly enjoy working on math while standing and collaborating, and the larger coordinate plane grids provide ample space for clear thinking, discussion, and shared problem-solving.\r\n\r\nThese materials have significantly improved student engagement and mathematical discourse. The grids are large enough for all group members to see and contribute, which encourages students to explain their thinking and correct mistakes together. Students have shared that they prefer using these large coordinate planes over the smaller desk mats used in the past, as the extra space allows them to work more comfortably and confidently while tackling coordinate plane problems.\r\n\r\nThis project has also had a powerful impact on my teaching. As students work at the vertical whiteboards, I can easily see their thinking from across the room, allowing me to quickly identify misconceptions and step in to provide guidance when needed. Being able to monitor student work in real time has helped me intervene more efficiently and support students exactly when they need it. Thank you for helping create a math classroom where collaboration, engagement, and problem-solving thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1757992510862,"projectUrl":"project/engage-graph-learn-building-math-skil/9303627/","projectTitle":"Engage, Graph, Learn: Building Math Skills with the Coordinate Plane","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hunt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8283281_orig.jpg?crop=751,752,x0,y60&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746282517713","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8283281"},{"teacherId":8283281,"projectId":9308377,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, my classroom has been transformed in ways that have immediately impacted both my teaching and my students' learning. The 2-in-1 Teacher Chromebook with stylus and protective case has given me the freedom to teach from anywhere in the room, rather than being anchored to my desk for attendance or to the front of the classroom writing on the whiteboard for instruction. This flexibility has truly been a game changer and has made my teaching more dynamic, responsive, and student-centered.\r\n\r\nWith the Chromebook, I am able to move around the room while teaching, annotate lessons in real time, and provide immediate, personalized feedback to students during instruction. I can check for understanding as students work, adjust my teaching on the spot, and support individual students right when they need it—whether that support is academic or behavioral. The most exciting feature for my students is seeing my handwriting appear instantly on the projection screen as I annotate on the Chromebook. They think this is \"super cool,\" and it keeps them focused and engaged during instruction.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, my classroom is more interactive, inclusive, and effective. My students benefit from real-time feedback, increased engagement, and a stronger connection during lessons, while I am able to meet their needs more efficiently and meaningfully. Thank you for investing in my classroom and for helping create a learning environment where students can truly thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1748702513472,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-interactive-instruction-with/9308377/","projectTitle":"Empowering Interactive Instruction With a 2-in-1 Chromebook","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hunt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8283281_orig.jpg?crop=751,752,x0,y60&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746282517713","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8283281"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_75094","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":727,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":48,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":65,"percentIndigenous":2,"percentLatinx":22,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 7","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":83.9,"schoolId":75094,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Pine View Intermediate @ Fossil Ridge on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Pine View Intermediate @ Fossil Ridge","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/utah/washington-county-school-district/fossil-ridge-intermediate-school/75094"}
