I wanted to share just how much your generosity has already impacted student learning.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating has transformed the way my students engage with their work. My favorite moment so far has been watching their faces light up as they realized they could choose where and how they learn best. That simple choice has created a noticeable shift in ownership and motivation. Students who are often hesitant or disengaged are suddenly more focused, more comfortable, and more willing to participate. It has been incredible to see them settle into a spot that feels right for them and immediately dive into their tasks with confidence.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement was contagious. Students explored every option, tested out different seats, and proudly claimed their favorites. That sense of joy and empowerment has carried into our daily routines.\r\n\r\nWe're now using the flexible seating to support collaborative reading and writing projects. Students are working in small groups to build stories, share ideas, and reflect on their learning — and the new seating options are helping them stay engaged, comfortable, and connected. The environment feels more student‑centered, and the quality of their work reflects that shift.\r\n\r\nYour support didn't just provide new materials; it created new opportunities for students to learn in ways that honor their needs, strengths, and individuality. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1767209808710,"projectUrl":"project/creating-a-comfy-and-cozy-environment-in/9671680/","projectTitle":"Creating a Comfy and Cozy Environment in Fifth Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Roberson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2602195"},{"teacherId":8347698,"projectId":9150542,"letterContent":"We have loved using the translator that you have provided for the office, as well as the bilingual books for our students. A newcomer at our school was feeling really homesick and was having a hard time adjusting to his new surroundings, so the books in Spanish really helped him to feel like he belonged at his new school. Even though his teachers did not understand much Spanish, he liked when they read his Spanish books aloud because it made him feel included and it gave him something to read at home with his mom, as well. \r\nThe office secretaries have also really enjoyed using the translator when parents have come in with quick questions or when our translator service has been available. Not only that, but it provides something engaging for older newcomers and level 2 students to read without feeling that the reading is for smaller kids.
