WOW! I cannot thank all of you enough for your generous donations to my classroom project of a class set of headphones.\r\n\r\nWhile our classroom already has headphones for student use, it is so nice to have extra headphones when sets malfunction. With their headphones, students are able to utilize them multiple times throughout the school week. They have been working on different computer programs - Lexia and iReady - to strengthen and achieve better, faster math and reading abilities. It is so fun to watch them work so intently on their Chromebooks.\r\n\r\nThe use of headphones in the classroom has also taught them how to be responsible by making sure their headphones are carefully unplugged from their Chromebook and put away nicely in their respective bags.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you for supporting my classroom and students. These tubs have made an incredible impact on our daily routines and learning environment.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment my students saw their new individual bins, their excitement was contagious! They eagerly placed their math, reading, and writing materials inside, along with their headphones, and quickly took ownership of their learning spaces. Now, instead of scrambling for supplies during transitions, they can focus on what truly matters—learning!\r\n\r\nHaving these organizational systems in place has transformed our classroom. Our transitions are smoother, instructional time has increased, and all students—especially those who need extra structure—are thriving in a more equitable and efficient learning space. Recently, during our writing workshop, I watched a student confidently grab their materials and dive into their work without hesitation. Moments like these remind me just how impactful your generosity is.\r\n\r\nNext, we're diving deeper into independent and small-group learning, and these tubs ensure that each child has easy access to the tools they need to succeed. Your support has not only provided a physical resource but has also fostered independence, responsibility, and a love for learning in my students.\r\n\r\nThank you for making a difference in our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1733253952389,"projectUrl":"project/maximize-learning-with-organizational-to/8710012/","projectTitle":"Maximize Learning With Organizational Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Griffith","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9578946_orig.jpg?crop=301,301,x0,y28&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754676775687","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9578946"},{"teacherId":4558331,"projectId":7777461,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our new table and stools have completely transformed our classroom environment! From the moment my students walked in and saw their new space, their faces lit up with excitement. One student exclaimed, \"It feels like a real learning café in here!\"—and that's exactly the vibe we were going for: a welcoming, engaging, and professional space that encourages focus, collaboration, and a love of learning.\r\n\r\nWe've already started using the new seating for group conversation activities, reading circles, and writing workshops. It's been incredible to see how simply changing the setup has boosted participation and helped students feel more confident sharing their ideas. One of our recent projects involved practicing dialogue writing, and the table created the perfect setting for peer-to-peer collaboration and performance. Students naturally leaned in, shared ideas, and encouraged each other—it was truly inspiring to watch.\r\n\r\nThese resources have not only enhanced our academic activities but have also made students feel seen and valued. They know this classroom is a place meant for them, where excellence is expected and supported by the environment around them.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be diving into a unit on persuasive writing, and I can't wait to see how the flexible seating continues to empower my students to brainstorm, plan, and share ideas in creative and meaningful ways. With this new setup, learning isn't just something that happens—it's something they look forward to.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in us and for investing in our future.
