Seeing the new blocks even helped them make good choices all day so that they could have a chance to work with them first during our play time.\r\n\r\nOur class has been learning about flat shapes and 3-D Shapes. I am so extremely amazed with the quality of these mats. I tried ordering matts before and found the quality lacking (see pictures). These will last several years. Thank you. The children were so excited to see these mats, which was very surprising. What kid wants to take a nap?! Mine do! I feel thankful and blessed that I can provide a clean and comfortable place for my students to rest. We have been using the mats daily. The students have become quite good at folding the mats up at the end of nap time. It is so quiet and peaceful in my classroom, that two-thirds of the students fall sound asleep. We call them their helpers and when they go to their prep classes with them, they proudly tell those teachers that the blankets are their helpers.\r\n\r\nWhen I took the blankets out of the boxes, the students were so excited to see them. The vibrant colors and cute designs got them excited to use them. Since they are also soft, they have also added an extra element of texture for those students that are more tactile.\r\n\r\nNow that many of our students are using the blankets that help them focus, they are now working on reports about penguins.
