One student recently told me, \"I think better when I am standing.\" Moments like that remind me why flexible seating matters so much.\r\n\r\nOur new ottoman has transformed our classroom library into an even cozier reading space. During independent reading time, students gravitate toward it with their favorite books, settling in comfortably and truly immersing themselves in stories.\r\n\r\nThe manipulatives you donated have also strengthened our classroom community. On Fridays, we use them during collaborative learning time. Students sit together, build, create, solve problems, laugh, and talk through their thinking. They are learning far more than academic skills. They are learning to communicate, to respect different ideas, and to support one another. I truly believe their kindness comes from being in an environment where they feel accepted and where differences in learning are celebrated.\r\n\r\nMy students now know that we all learn differently, and that is something to be proud of.
