The new chairs have made a meaningful difference for my students by giving them a calm, comfortable space to use when their bodies need help regulating. Our cozy corner has quickly become a favorite spot, and students now look forward to coming into the classroom knowing they have a safe place to relax, reset, and get ready to learn again.\r\n\r\nThe additional materials have also helped my students better access their learning. We use the table white-erase dots daily for practicing skills in an engaging, hands-on way. The pencil sharpener and Velcro have allowed me to create customized teaching materials that meet my students' individual needs. When students first saw the new supplies, they were excited and eager to use them right away.\r\n\r\nThe prizes purchased through this project have been a powerful motivator. Students work hard toward their goals and feel proud when they earn a reward, which has increased engagement and positive behavior in the classroom.\r\n\r\nNext, we will continue using these tools to support self-regulation, build independence, and reinforce academic skills during daily lessons and small-group instruction. Your generosity has helped create a classroom environment where students feel supported, motivated, and ready to succeed. Thank you for giving our students the tools they need to do their very best.","fullyFundedDate":1764619206331,"projectUrl":"project/a-calm-and-motivating-space-for-my-speci/9622657/","projectTitle":"A Calm and Motivating Space for My Special Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kristin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mckillip"},{"teacherId":10319700,"projectId":9843686,"letterContent":"Thank you for helping support the love and interest of reading in my classroom. This group of students have shown a love of reading, but after you have donated these new books I have seen a new enthusiasm and interest for the passion of reading. \r\nMy reading block is structured into small groups so my highest groups in my class have started reading the books that you have provided. We have only started reading them, but my students are excited to read each section that is asked of them and want to discuss what is happening within the books. The kids reading City Spies are loving reading about the code names of the adult and kid spies. \r\nThank you again for helping me show books that the students may not have picked on their own. We've been talking about how we'll use them, and the kids can't wait to design their name tags for Outdoor Lab. They're especially looking forward to getting creative with their tie-dye shirts and imagining how fun it will be to wear them together as a group during the trip.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students immediately wanted to dive in. They began brainstorming what colors they wanted to use on their shirts and couldn't stop sharing ideas for how to make their name tags stand out. Their energy and enthusiasm made it clear that these projects will be a highlight of our Outdoor Lab preparation.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next big step is finalizing everything for Outdoor Lab so the students are ready for their adventure. Once that is complete, we'll shift our focus to an exciting tradition—our 6th grade Shakespeare plays! Our students are already looking forward to stepping into character and bringing the plays to life on stage.","fullyFundedDate":1747366659267,"projectUrl":"project/creative-shirts-for-outdoor-education/9307392/","projectTitle":"Creative Shirts for Outdoor Education","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Anderson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9221860"},{"teacherId":4001498,"projectId":9334435,"letterContent":"The fidget toys and prize box items have made a big impact in our classroom!
