We now use the space daily for independent reading, partner reading, and small-group conferences, and I've already noticed students staying engaged longer and choosing books more confidently.\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching a reluctant reader proudly finish a chapter book in the corner and ask for another—something that rarely happened before. The space has become a reward, a retreat, and a motivator all in one. Students are tracking their reading stamina, recording new vocabulary in journals, and discussing stories with deeper understanding during our lessons.\r\nOur next steps include using the corner during our current novel study and nonfiction reading units, where students will practice annotating texts, setting reading goals, and responding in writing.
