Many of my students rely on school-issued Chromebooks for nearly all of their academic work, both in class and at home. For students from low-income households, replacing a lost or broken charger is often not financially possible. Before this project, that meant some students were unable to complete online assignments simply because their device could not hold a charge. Having a dedicated charging station at each table ensures that students always have access to power and can fully participate in class every day.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for students has been the consistency and independence these charging stations provide. Instead of worrying about conserving battery life or asking to borrow a charger, students can focus on learning. The cord covers have also made a noticeable difference by keeping our classroom safer and more organized, allowing students to move freely without tripping hazards or tangled cords.\r\n\r\nThis project has especially supported students who previously struggled to stay on top of assignments due to device issues beyond their control. With reliable access to charging throughout the day, students are more confident, prepared, and engaged. Your support has removed a barrier to learning and helped create a classroom environment where all students have the tools they need to succeed—thank you for making that possible.","fullyFundedDate":1762267742798,"projectUrl":"project/charged-up-for-learning/9752150/","projectTitle":"Charged Up for Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hollick","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3639670_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1465845493898","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/darby18"},{"teacherId":2832689,"projectId":9825506,"letterContent":"My classes and I are so grateful for the new chargers in our classroom.
