I am so appreciative of your investment in our children. My students are thrilled with the new pencil sharpeners. It is such a luxury to have pencil sharpeners that work so quickly and effectively. \r\n\r\nI also really appreciate all the items that I am using to help decorate and organize our classroom. It's fun to have custom items made on my Cricut machine. Also, the magnet tape has been fantastic for displaying vocabulary and science concepts on the board.\r\n\r\nAnd last, but definitely not least, my students have really been enjoying the Jolly Ranchers. It's very motivating to be able to reward them with a small, sweet treat. It has helped with class participation and with behavior.","fullyFundedDate":1768150256767,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-organization/9996941/","projectTitle":"Classroom Organization","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Parsons","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6506194_orig.jpg?crop=1579,1579,x736,y628&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1704754650404","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6506194"},{"teacherId":9591575,"projectId":9997647,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our 6th grade science classroom and making this project possible. When the supplies arrived, my students were genuinely blown away! They were so excited as I opened the boxes and they could see everything inside. Several of them kept saying things like, \"People really bought this for us?\" and \"This is for our class?\" It was such a meaningful moment because it reminded them that there are people outside our school who believe in them and care about their learning. Your generosity made my students feel valued, supported, and excited to come to science each day.\r\nWe have already been using these materials throughout our Ocean, Atmosphere, and Climate unit, and they have made a huge difference in how students engage with the content. The colored pencils, highlighters, and pens have helped students create detailed models of ocean currents, the atmospheric layers, and climate patterns while adding important information to their interactive notebooks. The glue sticks have been essential as students build foldables, diagrams, and model pieces that help them visualize how the ocean and atmosphere interact. These supplies have made our notebooks more than just notes. They've become tools for thinking, revising, and making sense of complex systems.\r\nOne of the biggest impacts has been the student whiteboards. They have completely changed the way students participate during lessons. Students are now able to quickly sketch models, write predictions, and explain their thinking without fear of being wrong. I've watched quieter students become more confident because they can test ideas and share them in a low-pressure way. The whiteboards have allowed for immediate feedback and stronger classroom discussions, especially when we're analyzing data or explaining cause-and-effect relationships in climate systems. We played a game and used the white boards to think through their response, which helped more students participate.\r\nUp next, we will be using these same materials as students create final models and explanations showing how energy from the sun drives weather patterns and long-term climate changes. Because of you, my students are learning science in a way that is hands-on, creative, and truly memorable. Thank you for making such a lasting impact on our classroom and our future scientists.","fullyFundedDate":1768156632125,"projectUrl":"project/tools-for-thinking-like-scientists/9997647/","projectTitle":"Tools for Thinking Like Scientists","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Parker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9591575_orig.jpg?crop=320,320,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727634348818","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9591575"},{"teacherId":8131668,"projectId":9993632,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your incredible generosity in bringing new, high-interest books to our library shelves.
