The new pencil sharpener has already become a quiet hero in our room. Students no longer interrupt lessons with broken pencils or frustration. One morning during a writing block, I watched a student calmly sharpen their pencil and return to work without losing focus, something that used to derail their confidence and attention. Small moments like this now happen smoothly and independently throughout the day.\r\n\r\nThe pencils you provided ensure that every student comes to class ready to learn. There's no anxiety about not having supplies or feeling embarrassed to ask. Students can jump right into math problem-solving, writing responses, and partner work without barriers, which has noticeably increased engagement and productivity.\r\n\r\nThe healthy snacks have made an immediate impact as well. During a recent afternoon lesson, students who typically struggle to stay focused were able to regulate their energy and fully participate after having a snack. One student shared, \"I can think better when I'm not hungry,\" which perfectly captures the importance of this support.","fullyFundedDate":1768944237656,"projectUrl":"project/sustaining-learning-through-classroom-es/10023543/","projectTitle":"Sustaining Learning Through Classroom Essentials","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Sherman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp317315_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758917858405","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/317315"},{"teacherId":8129976,"projectId":7984351,"letterContent":"Your donations towards my Pre K autism class. The materials provided for my classroom have been invaluable in teaching my students about buildings. Hands-on experiences are the most effective way for preschoolers to learn, and these resources have made such learning possible in my classroom.\r\nMy students were thrilled when they saw the hardware shop dramatic play center set up with the new materials. The construction tools, especially the realistic drill and toolbelt set, were extremely popular. The children were full of curiosity, asking many questions about how to use the drill and the purpose of the tool belt. In fact, the excitement over the tool belts was so high that having two would have been ideal. The students also enjoyed using the magnetic road tiles and translucent light blocks to build cities and roads on the light table. Working with the light table introduced another sensory element, enriching their understanding of buildings and construction.\r\nAgain, thank you for supporting our classroom with your donations.
