Apparently there is a greater problem with the printer. As our district is not an affluent one, the printer will most likely never be repaired.\r\n\r\nAfter installing the new print head and the new ink cartridges, anticipation was high. We were devastated that after several hours of tinkering, when we were ready to begin printing, we got a message on the printer's readout declaring that we were low on ink. Yup, the new ink we just loaded, and didn't use once, were suddenly empty.\r\n\r\nGoogling the matter, it is possible that there is a problem with internal circuitry, or some other internal issue that is beyond the scope of an everyday teacher. We will not be able to hire anyone to come to service the printer.\r\n\r\nWe are truly devastated by this disappointing conclusion.
