We were able to use the new materials to paint flowers that were featured in our art show. \r\nUsing the squeeze bottles made getting paint out SO much easier, and being able to put the paint in a closable container meant that I was able to get through all my classes, and only had to refill a couple of colors. It eliminated so much waste, because the kids were still free to use as much as they needed to, but they didn't have some on a plate that was being pushed around and mixed together. It also meant that if a kid did mix colors, it was usually only one or two, and was easily fixed. \r\n\r\nThe clothesline came in very handy for being able to get wet paint out of the way so the next class could start, and me not having to have wet papers over every conceivable surface of my room was a relief. I've been able to use the tablecloths for a few weeks now, both with the acrylic paint, and with the watercolors they're using now, and not having desks that are either wet or crusted with paint is a refreshing change. \r\n\r\nThe kids were so excited to be able to paint, and every class got a different flower that they could paint however they wanted. They really showed off their creativity with what they came up with. I cut the flowers out, and then they were grouped together for our end of the year art show. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your kindness and generosity that allowed us to get these supplies. We couldn't have done it without you.","fullyFundedDate":1767215105210,"projectUrl":"project/paint-your-imagination-not-the-desks/9862138/","projectTitle":"Paint Your Imagination, Not the Desks","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Webb","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10001666"},{"teacherId":10328769,"projectId":9856369,"letterContent":"You have no idea how much having these speakers in class now has help.
