It also allows students to collaborate, respond to texts in creative ways, and build confidence as readers and thinkers.\r\n\r\nWhat has been most exciting for students is how interactive and personalized the learning experience has become. They love being able to listen to stories while following along, record their thinking, and use tools that make learning feel more like exploration than work. The ability to see their progress in real time has also been very motivating—they take pride in tracking their growth and setting goals for themselves.\r\n\r\nI've noticed that some of my more hesitant or struggling readers have especially connected with this new technology. For example, students who may feel less confident reading aloud in front of peers are much more willing to engage when they can use audio features or practice independently first. Additionally, my bilingual students benefit greatly from tools that support vocabulary development and comprehension in both languages.
