Because of your generosity, we have enough erasers and markers to last us the 2nd semester. The dry erase clipboards have helped the students transition from their seats to the carpet and around the room. The colorful dry erase dots are applied to our classroom reading table. We use them for sight words during reading groups and for math computations during math groups.\r\nIt is much easier for the students to keep up with their supplies when they clip their papers to the boards. We do not have to spend lesson time looking for papers that flew off or pencils that rolled away. \r\nI love seeing them use their boards to help them work out and solve their daily math lessons. \r\nWhen the supplies arrived, the class was so excited! They were eager for me to open everything up and distribute them so they could get started using them. The next couple of days, while I was getting everything organized, they were telling other teachers and students about the blessings that others gave to us and how excited they were that they would soon be able to use the supplies.\r\nMoving forward, we will continue to use them for math, whole group lessons on the carpet, independent work at their seat, and the circle dots at small group time.\r\nAgain, thank you so much for this contribution to our class.","fullyFundedDate":1734099384197,"projectUrl":"project/write-on-wipe-off/8885085/","projectTitle":"Write On, Wipe Off","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Segura","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8304742_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1679847704093","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8304742"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_16471","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":260,"numTeachers":33,"percentFrplEligible":84,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":42,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":36,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 2","studentTeacherRatio":"7.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":67.2,"schoolId":16471,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Keene Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Keene Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/keene-independent-school-district/keene-elementary-school/16471"}
