Students have fallen in love with the author and have checked out many books by Judy Blume. Students have been able to connect with the main characters in the book and have openly shared similar experiences they have had themselves as they grow and mature in life. Being able to provide books to my students because of you has made such a difference. We have books to read, reference, and get lost in. We all cannot thank you enough for your support and dedication to the learning that goes on in my amazing classroom. We have dived into the book, and it has made a positive impact of the learning experience in my classroom. I have many students who are refugees, coming to our school. They were in awe of the connections in the book and the meaning behind it. We had many fabulous conversations about the similarities they saw and felt and the differences between many of our students' lives and history.
