My students have never had a sensory bin and it has proven to be a great way to elicit spontaneous conversations, as well as allow the children to count, identify different colors and also use little scoopers to gather their items inside of the bin. These materials are helping my students in all areas of learning, which is extremely important and exciting.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new bin, they were VERY curious as to what was inside. Upon opening the box, the children erupted with joy and excitement. Putting their little hands inside of the sand looking for the festive treasures was and is truly magical to see and witness.\r\n\r\nThese learning items have proven to be an essential part of learning and will continue to have a lasting impact on all students that I am serving inside of my classroom. The resources you provided have already made a big difference for my students, and I would love to share how they are being used.\r\nThe pencils and electric sharpener have solved a problem we faced every day. Before, students wasted time trying to sharpen pencils, which interrupted lessons. Now, everything runs smoothly, and students can focus on writing. They even enjoy taking turns using the sharpener—it feels special to them.\r\nThe colored cardstock has encouraged creativity during projects. Students used it recently to design ecosystems in science and to decorate covers for their own stories. The bright, strong paper allowed them to express their ideas in a way that felt exciting and professional.\r\nThe solar system bubble fidget toys are now part of our calming corner. They help students who need a break to refocus, but we also used them during a science lesson to talk about the planets. What started as a fidget tool turned into a fun way to learn about space.\r\nThe LED fidget spinner bracelets were a big surprise for my students. They lit up with smiles when they saw them. We now use them as rewards for teamwork and positive behavior, and they have helped build a stronger classroom community.\r\nAll of these items may seem small, but together they have brought more creativity, focus, and joy to our learning. My students feel supported and excited to work, and that is thanks to you.\r\nLooking ahead, we will continue to use the cardstock for science and social studies projects, the fidgets and bracelets for social-emotional learning and rewards, and the pencils and sharpener in our everyday lessons. Your generosity has given us tools that truly make a difference, and my students are grateful to have them.\r\nThank you again for believing in our classroom and helping my students grow.","fullyFundedDate":1742582578471,"projectUrl":"project/supplies-for-my-class/9031120/","projectTitle":"Supplies for My Class","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Edmur Rodriguez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9701110_orig.jpg?crop=4284,4284,x0,y1428&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724386326900","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9701110"},{"teacherId":9919033,"projectId":9104136,"letterContent":"The Sensory Haven project funded through Ðǿմ«Ã½ has been a transformative addition to my TK-1st special education classroom.
