Instead of one-size-fits-all worksheets, students are now working with hands-on, visually clear resources such as laminated sentence strips, labeled word cards, and interactive activities that support reading, writing, and language development in a more structured and accessible way.\r\n\r\nWhat has been most exciting for students is how these materials turn learning into something they can touch, move, and explore. Items like magnetic letters, finger readers, and even the Pete the Cat hand puppet have brought lessons to life, helping students build confidence while practicing foundational skills. The ability to reuse materials with dry erase markers has also made learning feel low-pressure and fun, encouraging students to take risks and try again without fear of making mistakes.\r\n\r\nSeveral of my students who previously struggled to stay engaged have shown noticeable growth in both participation and confidence. For example, some students who were hesitant to read aloud are now eager to use finger readers and follow along with texts, while others enjoy building words and sentences with magnetic letters and sentence strips.
