In our kindergarten through second grade classrooms, students will be able to use the Botley 2.0 Coding Robots to practice early problem solving and sequencing skills. Without screens, students program Botley using simple commands, which helps them understand how giving clear instructions leads to specific outcomes. In grades three through five, students are working with micro, small programmable devices that allow them to explore coding, math, and science concepts while creating real, interactive projects. \r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is that they are not just using technology they are creating with it. Younger students light up as they successfully guide Botley through obstacle courses they design themselves, celebrating each small success and eagerly trying again when things don't work the first time. Older students are especially motivated by the micro because they can program lights, buttons, and sensors, turning abstract coding concepts into something they can see and touch. This sense of control and creativity has made learning feel like an adventure rather than an assignment.\r\n\r\nSome students who previously struggled with confidence have especially thrived with this technology.
