The students are also working on adjectives describing the characters and adding them to their writing to make it more colorful.\r\n\r\nThank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. It has helped me be able to be organized with the multiple pieces of music in each group, and I have been able to color code scores to efficiently plan next steps to impact rehearsal teachings. \r\n\r\nIn addition I have been able to use the iPad to capture photos of the choir and print them to add to our choir photo wall. My students have learned so much about running a coffee business. They are able to make and sell coffee to staff. \r\nThe students have also started baking mug muffins to start to sell to teachers. This also helps them to work on their cooking and kitchen skills. \r\nThe books that the students got were so amazing, and they loved The Hobbit. It is always great to be able to give students with disabilities the opportunity to read and do things that their general education peers do. This project brought the complexities of ocular anatomy to life in a way that no textbook or diagram could ever replicate.\r\n\r\nThe lab itself was a remarkable moment. We began with a detailed discussion of the eye's structure and function, using diagrams and videos to illustrate the various components. However, the true learning began when we unpacked the preserved sheep eyes. A collective gasp filled the room, followed by a flurry of excited whispers. Some students were a little apprehensive, but their curiosity quickly overcame any hesitation.\r\n\r\nThe students were immediately engaged, meticulously following the dissection instructions and carefully examining each part of the eye. They were amazed to see the lens, the retina, the optic nerve, and the vitreous humor firsthand. The ability to physically manipulate these structures provided them with a deeper understanding of their roles in vision.","fullyFundedDate":1731028481050,"projectUrl":"project/lightwave-demos/8901229/","projectTitle":"Lightwave Demos!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Filyk","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9546626"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_41573","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":673,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":44,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":47,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":43,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"19.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":68.6,"schoolId":41573,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Skinner Middle School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Skinner Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/denver-public-school-district-1/skinner-middle-school/41573"}
