Creating a Hands-On Lab Experience. My students are especially fascinated about how rocks form and why volcanoes erupt! To help my students truly understand the rock cycle, erosion, weathering, and volcanoes, these science posters, books, and real rock and mineral samples will turn our classroom into a mini science lab where students can explore Earth's processes up close. The posters will make key concepts visible all year long and support visual learners. The books will allow students to read about real scientists, fascinating rock formations, and the forces that shape our planet. The rock and mineral samples will give students the chance to handle and compare igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks. These resources will help my students observe, question, and make connections between what they read and what they can hold in their hands.
