What once was simple free play is now an opportunity for hands-on investigation as children scoop, pour, build, and create with intention. These sensory experiences are strengthening their fine motor skills, creativity, and early problem-solving every single day.\r\nThe bug materials have opened up a new world of discovery for my young scientists. As they observe different critters, compare their features, and ask questions about how living things grow and survive, they are developing respect for nature and building the foundations of scientific thinking. Their excitement is contagious as students gather around to share their observations, make predictions, and celebrate each discovery.\r\nMost importantly, these resources have strengthened our sense of community. Children naturally collaborate as they explore, talk through ideas, and build together. Their language skills, cooperation, and confidence continue to grow with every shared moment of learning. Thank you for making this kind of joyful, hands-on exploration possible for my students. Your generosity truly helps them see themselves as curious thinkers and future scientist.","fullyFundedDate":1757555892899,"projectUrl":"project/exploring-nature-through-water-sand-an/9576407/","projectTitle":"Exploring Nature Through Water, Sand, and Critters","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Covarrubias","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2578639_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1536273623769","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-covarrubias402"},{"teacherId":2578639,"projectId":9622785,"letterContent":"My kindergarteners love spending time outdoors, and a picnic table with an umbrella will make those moments even more meaningful. Having a dedicated table gives them a special place to sit side by side, practice social skills, and enjoy being part of a caring community.\r\nThis outdoor table has become a natural extension of our classroom. My students often come together outside to work on projects, look at books, or observe nature, and the picnic table will give them a comfortable spot to learn in new and engaging ways. The umbrella will provide much-needed shade—not only over the table but also over the sandbox, which is a class favorite. With better protection from the sun, students can safely play, explore, and create for longer stretches of time.\r\nMore than just furniture, this picnic table has transformed our outdoor space into a place where imaginations bloom and friendships grow. We are currently working on digraphs in phonics, and the mobile whiteboard has been especially helpful as we create our digraph anchor chart together. It allows me to model each sound and word example right in front of the students, making it easy for everyone to see and participate as we build our chart as a class. \r\n\r\nThe pastel testing dividers have made a positive impact in my classroom by helping students focus better during assessments and independent work. Their calming colors create a soothing environment, reducing distractions and test anxiety for my students. One of my students, who usually struggles during tests, was especially excited to use the blue testing divider. Having his own space with a calming color helped him feel more relaxed and confident while testing.\r\n\r\nMy students were very excited when I introduced the mobile whiteboard and pastel testing dividers to our classroom.
