A few have even expressed interest in writing their own mysteries!\r\n\r\nThe playing cards have also been a tremendous hit! The students use them often to practice their multiplication facts. Their favorite game to play is War. As an added bonus, using the cards to play math games is also teaching the students to use good sportsmanship.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the texts and playing cards, everything else funded in this project has been greatly appreciated. I am so grateful for your kindness and generosity. Students start by using them during our whole group math warm up. They also use them instead of scratch paper to complete math tasks. Whiteboard work serves as a great tool for me to do quick observations of student understanding.\r\n\r\nThe paper cutter, laminating sheets and card stock have made it possible to create fun resources to use in my classroom. These are used for task cards and fun engaging activities.
