Your support has made a meaningful difference in the daily lives of my students.\r\nBecause of your kindness, my students now have the opportunity to engage in arts and crafts activities that bring them so much joy. The moment I tell them it's time for art, their faces light up with excitement. These creative moments have become something they truly look forward to.\r\nBeyond the fun, I've noticed a powerful impact on our classroom environment. Art time provides a sense of calm and balance amid the busy demands of the school day. It allows students to slow down, focus, and express themselves in ways that traditional curriculum doesn't always allow. Each child takes great pride in their work, and it's incredibly rewarding to see their confidence grow as they complete their projects.\r\nYour generosity has not only provided materials but has also helped foster creativity, emotional well-being, and a positive classroom atmosphere. Thank you for believing in my students and for helping create these meaningful experiences for them.\r\nWith sincere appreciation,\r\nSarah LeFever \r\n25/26 First Grade Class","fullyFundedDate":1768889170651,"projectUrl":"project/art-to-help-us-grow-creatively/10043306/","projectTitle":"Art to Help Us Grow Creatively.","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. LeFever","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9634475"},{"teacherId":9598610,"projectId":10046297,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support — the impact of the supplies on my students has been tremendous. From the moment the boxes arrived, excitement filled the classroom; students gathered around eagerly, curious to explore each new item. That initial enthusiasm quickly turned into sustained engagement. The materials encouraged cooperative play and sharing, prompting children to ask questions, test ideas, and work together to solve small problems. For many of our students, these supplies opened doors to experiences they had never had before: building more complex structures, experimenting with different textures and tools, and role-playing scenarios that help them practice social skills. The result has been a noticeable increase in their confidence and willingness to try new things. They are not only more vocal about what interests them, but they also demonstrate greater persistence when a task becomes challenging — a direct reflection of the supportive learning environment your donation helped create.\r\n\r\nChildren at this age thrive on hands-on learning, and your contribution has enriched their daily routines in meaningful ways. Manipulatives and sensory materials allowed students to refine fine motor skills while making learning feel like play. Art supplies inspired creativity and self-expression; students who are typically reserved found safe ways to communicate feelings and ideas through their creations. Science- and math-oriented materials fostered early experimentation — measuring, comparing, predicting — which strengthened foundational cognitive skills. Perhaps most importantly, the classroom has become a more inclusive space. Students with diverse learning needs benefited from alternative ways to engage with content; tactile resources and varied materials gave each child options to interact with lessons in ways that work best for them. Teachers on our team have also benefited, using the supplies to design richer, more hands-on lesson plans that cater to multiple learning modalities and keep children actively involved.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your thoughtful contribution to our classroom. Your generosity has made a tangible difference in the day-to-day experiences and long-term development of our students. We are deeply grateful for partners like you who recognize the importance of early learning and invest in tools that spark curiosity and growth. If you'd like, I'd be happy to share photos of student work or brief updates on how specific materials are being used in lessons. Your support is helping shape confident, curious learners — and for that, we can't thank you enough.","fullyFundedDate":1769127926620,"projectUrl":"project/exploring-with-curiosity/10046297/","projectTitle":"Exploring with Curiosity","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Garner","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9598610"},{"teacherId":9367185,"projectId":10020007,"letterContent":"I am incredibly grateful for your generous support in funding our classroom project. Because of your kindness, our students now have access to engaging, hands-on resources that are already making a meaningful difference in their learning. The new bean bag chair has transformed our reading center into a cozy, inviting space where students are excited to sit down with a book and read. It has quickly become a favorite spot that encourages a love for reading and helps students feel comfortable and focused.\r\n\r\nThe books featuring digraphs and blends are helping strengthen foundational literacy skills, giving students the practice they need to become more confident readers. The letter magnets have also been a wonderful addition, allowing students to build and explore CVC words in a fun, interactive way. These materials make learning feel like play, which is so important at this stage of development. Additionally, the LEGOs in our play center are fostering creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills among students.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has created new opportunities for engagement, exploration, and growth in our classroom. The hands-on resources have helped spark curiosity and encouraged meaningful exploration through play and discovery.\r\n\r\nAs part of our wind study, students will be creating balloon cars.
