During one of our reading units, we learned about how technology has flourished in the recent years. We also discussed the timeline of how it has evolved and how we think it will continue to grow as we go through time. They all think I am going to be replaced with a robot. Let's hope not. \r\n\r\nMy students brainstormed problems they see within and problem solved with an invention to solve that problem. They used the materials provided to create a model of their newest invention. Some of their inventions were ipads and phones that never die, strong cars, fastest bike, and a marker that never runs out of ink. \r\n\r\nWe invited several other classes to see their inventions and many were intrigued to see it come to life. Their favorite thing about the kits is being able to write the words they build without getting another piece of equipment out. The magnet kits will be used for many years to come.
